We elves try to stick to the four main food groups. Candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup.

Christmas is this Sunday! How did that happen? Where did the time go?!
This last week is usually a mad dash to finish all Christmas activities and finalize plans for Christmas day. I still have no idea what I’m going to be making but I’m making efforts to make things a little easier on myself each year. I’ve been known to pack on too much on the day and I end up exhausted by the end of it.
One of the more popular Christmas movies, is Elf starring Will Ferrell. I didn’t watch it as a kid so it took me quite a few tries to actually enjoy and like the movie. One of the more memorable scenes from the movie is when Buddy makes breakfast one morning. He starts off with pasta and then tops it off with maple syrup, sprinkles, mini marshmallows, m&m’s, chocolate syrup, and fudge pop tarts. There really isn’t a recipe for this dish. It’s just an amazing mash up of all the sugar products on cooked pasta. This expectedly isn’t great to eat but if you have kids in your family, I guarantee they will freak out when they see this.
