Aye. That’s exactly what I thought when we were first told of the tale. Buried in the island of the dead that which cannot be found except by those who already knows where it is. Find it, we did. And there be the chest… and inside, be the gold. We took them all! Spent ’em, traded ’em and fritted ’em away, for drink and food and pleasurable company. But the more we gave them away, the more we came to realize. The drink would not satisfy, food turned to ash in our mouths, nor the company in the world would harm or slake our lust. We are cursed men, Miss Turner. Compelled by greed, we were. But now, we are consumed by it.

Happy October!
I’m so ecstatic that October is finally here. It only means that the holidays are coming up very soon and it also means it’s my birthday! It’s still pretty warm in California but that doesn’t mean I’m holding back on the pumpkin spice lattes and sweaters. I have a few really exciting feasts coming up that I really hope you will enjoy but for now, I have the Pirates of the Caribbean feast! This idea first came from Jeunelle who I follow on Instagram. She had the fantastic idea of creating a Pirates of the Caribbean themed feast and I’m so grateful because it couldn’t be a better time to create this feast than now! Thank you so much, Jeunelle!
