Sir Nicholas's Deathday Party: Grilled Rotten Mackerel with Lemon and Herbs
Ingredients
- 1 - whole Mackerel cleaned, skin on, scales removed
- 1/2 tsp - lemon zest
- 2 tbsp - olive oil
- 2 - garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 tsp - espelette powder
- 2 - pieces green onion chopped
- 1/4 tsp - salt
Instructions
- Preheat your grill over medium high heat. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and start to coat the fish with the mixture. Season the cavity of the fish with salt and pepper as well.
- Grill the fish for 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked. Serve the fish with a side of lemon.
