Just when you think the Oscars are done and over with, I finally got a chance to watch the Oscar nominated movie, The Post/ The film is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. The story is set in the early 70’s about Katharine Graham, the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, The Washington Post.
The recipe for lemonade comes from the scene when Bradlee’s daughter, Marina, sells lemonade to the Post staff as they’re working in Ben’s home. You can obvioiusly change this up and add vodka to it (ask requested by Meg Greenfield). I hope you enjoy it!
EMPLOYEE: What kind of lemonade you have there?
MARINA: Uh, it’s the one with the lemons in it.
THE POST, 2017
It seems like it was only yesterday when I was posting recipes for Christmas. How are we in the middle of March alreadY?? St Patrick’s Day was wonderful, mostly because I got to make a big batch of corned beef with cabbage and potatoes. Most importantly, I have enough left over to make corned beef hash this morning which was AMAZING.
Looking forward, I’m really excited for Easter. I love getting to dye easter eggs with nephews and eat a bunch of chocolate. Also, I’m incredibly excited for the recipes coming up! If you have an suggestions or recipes you would like to see me recreate, make sure to leave a message o an email!
